According to Stats Canada, merchandise trade surplus increased to $3.9B in June 2026 ($3.7B in May). Total exports increased by 0.4%, the fifth consecutive monthly increase whereas total imports rose by 0.2%. In volume terms, exports were up 1.1% whereas imports were down 1.5%.
