Winnipeg-based Great-West Lifeco Inc.’s (TSX:GWO) subsidiary Empower acquired Seattle-based Milliman’s retirement plan and benefits administration business to expand capabilities across defined benefit, defined contribution, and health and welfare benefits administration. ~800 personnel will join Empower as part of the acquisition.
