• Aviation:
  Sherwood Park based Maverick Aviation Group Ltd., an aviation services provider, announced the acquisition of Niagara, ON based Genaire Ltd., an aerospace engineering and manufacturing company with expertise in aircraft fuel systems, ground support equipment and OEM.

• Consulting:
  San Diego based Vistage announced the acquisition of Calgary based The Executive Committee (TEC) Canada, a peer network group of CEOs and executives to expand reach and network in Canada.

• Robotics:
  London, ON based Appetronix, a robotics company, announced the acquisition of Vancouver based Cibotica, a provider of proprietary ingredient dispensing and portioning technology to accelerate multi-cuisine expansion and to elevate food robotics offerings.

• Consumer Services:
  Vancouver based Diversified Royalty Corp. announced the $235MM acquisition of Edmonton based Mr. Lube + Tires, a national automotive service chain providing vehicle maintenance services with 187 locations nationwide.

• Food & Beverage Manufacturing:
  Grand Rapids, MI based Roskam Foods announced the acquisition of Edmonton based Kitchen Partners, a manufacturer of sauces, marinades, dips, and soups.

Other:

• According to Stats Canada, Canadian inflation rose to 2.8% in April (2.4% in March). The increase was primarily driven by the surge in gasoline prices as a result of the US-Iran war. Excluding gasoline, Canadian inflation was 2.0% in April (2.2% in March).
